Frequently Asked Questions

Pre-K & Kindergarten Questions

Q: What happens if we miss a class?

If your child is sick, you may submit a request by phone or email (on soccer day or before) explaining the circumstances and we will then credit you up to 1 week per paid period. Credits cannot be applied retrospectively.

Q: What happens on rain outs?

We try to do something inside the school class rooms but when that isn’t an option, we will schedule another day or just credit all participants who were present on that ‘rained out’ day with an additional lesson. We may also from time to time extend the length of lessons to offset any rain out sessions where ever possible.

Q: What other things do the children learn at these classes?

With the use of agility, balance coordination and speed equipment we teach fine motor skills. These ‘games’ are conducted as themes for the younger children –  i.e. The speed ladder (Good for coordination & speed) is referred to as the ‘Choo Choo train track’, the mini hurdles (great for agility) are ‘frog jumps’ and the balance poles are ‘Bridges to cross the river’ Discipline, team work and sportsmanship are also encouraged.

Yes, take 10% off your 2nd and 3rd child’s fee. This is automatic on the website.

Q: My kids played league soccer with another program and hardly touched the ball so they learned nothing. What do you do different?

We follow an expertly designed fun teaching curriculum. Each week a different skill is taught through imaginative, themed games. Practices consist of activities where each child has a ball. Age appropriate level of difficulty is carefully considered and children play within their own age group. The last 10 minutes is game play and rules are taught gradually.

Q: What do the children learn at these classes?

We focus on agility, balance and coordination through the use of speed equipment in our weekly agility sessions, these help with the fine motor skills and overall conditioning. We also run smaller sessions within the lesson, each week different skill sets and aspects of the game are taught and then ‘reinforced’ through team play. Progressive sessions continue to develop the core skills and agility, leading to a better understanding of the game, greater coordination and overall improvement in ball skills. Discipline, team work and sportsmanship are also fundamentals of our program and encouraged at all times.

Q: What happens if it rains?

Our staff are present even when it rains and will still take the session as our policy is to play whenever possible,so if it stops raining during the session we will play.
We will run a reduced session under the pavilion area at the school, IF that isn’t an option we will credit all participants who were recorded as present on that ‘rained out’ day with an additional lesson.
A session is considered ‘completed’ if we start and/or run for more than 40 minutes before or during rain periods. In this case NO credits for ‘rained out’ will be applied
Rain out ‘credits’ are limited to one per paid period.
